Micro-hydro power in Kaghan valley, Pakistan

At the project site of one of our SEPS projects in Pakistan, construction works are successfully progressing. The project is located in the Kaghan Valley in the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Province of Pakistan, a touristic area with about 100 hotels. To overcome the valley’s ineffecient electricity supply, local partner T-PAK is busy constructing a micro hydro unit.

An underground compartment for the planned micro-hydro unit has been built, as well as a water pipe leading to a water tank on top of the building and an electric transformer.

Parts of the water channel and the construction site have been painted with the WISIONS logo to inform the public about the ongoing project.
