Meet the WISIONS team at the European Commission Workshop on Empowering Rural Electrification
The WISIONS team will be attending a two day workshop hosted by the EC from 29-30 September 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. The objectives of this workshop are to identify successful business models for accelerated roll-out of energy access in rural communities.
A variety of stakeholders will have the opportunity to discuss new possibilities for providing financial support to rural electrification projects through a joint effort by the private sector and civil society organizations, and to share experiences and identify common practices.
