Registration for RedBioLAC Encuentro Virtual is now open

As already announced some weeks ago, the organizers of this years XII Encuentro decided to postpone it to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, it will be possible to attend an alternative online event from 6 to 8 October 2020, free of charge, open to everyone and you can register now. Please keep in mind that the whole event will be hold in spanish language. Register here now!

The agenda for the Encuentro Virtual will be structured in three 1.5 hour sessions, consisting of a roundtable discussion and presentations of works from the RedBioLAC magazine. The prelimiary agenda for the presentations will contain the following:
 
6 October:
Jaime Martí from Ecuador will present his findings about national biodigester plans, strengths and weaknesses for their implementation in Latin America and the Caribbean
7 October:
Lylian Rodriguez from Colombia will elaborate on the role of biodigesters in rural development and family farming
8 October:
Ricardo Steinmetz from Brasil will talk about circular economy and the importance of anaerobic digestion

La agenda del Encuentro Virtual se estructurará en tres sesiones de una hora y media, que consistirán en una mesa redonda y presentaciones de trabajos de la revista RedBioLAC. La agenda preliminar de las presentaciones contendrá lo siguiente:

6 de octubre:
Jaime Martí, del Ecuador, presentará sus conclusiones sobre los planes nacionales de biodigestores, así como las fortalezas y debilidades para su aplicación en América Latina y el Caribe

7 de octubre:

Lylian Rodríguez de Colombia explicará el papel de los biodigestores en el desarrollo rural y la agricultura familiar

8 de octubre:
Ricardo Steinmetz de Brasil hablará sobre la economía circular y la importancia de la digestión anaeróbica
